Description: I have created these cards for support in the area of identifying "being" verbs. This is to be used as a follow up and in support of "being" verb lessons you have taught. These cards primarily focus on am, are, is, was, and were, but also include will be, being, and been. I have added sound to support and encourage students who are still working on decoding skills or benefit from auditory support, so that they can focus on the grammar skill. I have found great success with my gen ed students (K to 6th grade reading levels) both in person and virtual being able to access content for practice and informal assessment. Fluent readers do not have to use the sound (it is only an option).
