Description: This deck includes an activity which would help the child practice his/her spelling skills. The adult could ask the child to look at the picture and name it. The adult could break down the word as "b..e..d" and help the child identify the sounds within the word. The child could pick out ht sounds he/she hears from the alphabet box and place it on the mat to form the word. once the child has formed the word, the child could move on to the next page and read the word formed with the adult.
