Description
This is a fun group game which targets articulation practice for 'sh', 'ch', 'j' and 'zh' at a variety of levels. The speaking tasks vary by category as follows: 1). What's in a word?:The task cards for all points in this category include single words for each sound. The first three cards include 1-2 syllable words with the sounds represented in all 3 positions. The final two cards include words with target sounds in all positions and consisting of 2-6 syllables; 2). More than words: These task cards follow the same pattern as the previous category, only with phrases instead of single words. The category for 1000 has multiple target sounds per phrase; 3). And...another thing: This category increases in difficulty with each point value and includes a variety of spelling variations, 'shr' blends and words with multiple target sounds. This category includes words, phrases, sentences and a page with tongue twisters; 4). Keep 'em coming!: This category includes sentences that gradually increase in the number of target sounds; 5). Kind of tricky...: This category includes tongue twisters and alliterations that vary in length and difficulty. This version does not include specific instructions on how many trials to practice each turn as in other versions. Therapists will need to provide guidance for this.
