Description: This deck was created to support students with their self-help skills in the evenings after school. During the first half of the deck, students listen to the story that introduces the different tasks. The after school/evening routines are broken down into 10 tasks which include: * Riding the bus * Riding in a car * Eating a snack and relaxing * Playing outside * Eating dinner * Taking a bath * Putting on pajamas * Brushing teeth * Reading a book * Going to sleep The second half of the deck asks students to answer questions based on their comprehension of the first 10 cards (i.e., "Who is reading a book?"). Students choose their answer from a field of two. Audio is provided on every card to support independent and repeated practice opportunities. This deck is suitable for early childhood educators, intervention specialists, speech therapists and parents. After School/Evening Routine is a perfect addition to your Back to School lesson plans while supporting the development of age-appropriate self-help skills.
