Description: This BOOM deck is a full WIDA ACCESS practice test for Intermediate ESL students (Wida levels 2-3 and WIDA Tier B). There are 20 questions, 5 for each language domain. All cards in the deck are self-correcting except the speaking (you will have to evaluate the recordings the students make). However, the recordings for the speaking section can be done right in the BOOM card slides! You just need to make sure that the students click "Allow" if the computer asks them to access their microphone. This practice test covers all 5 WIDA Standards. Questions are on familiar topics and basic content that students grades 4 and up will have been exposed to. The listening section is spoken in clear, very slightly slower English. Still a normal pace, but just a little bit slowed so that ELLs can have a chance of understanding. (It sounds like the recordings you've heard on every other standardized test).
