Description: This resource is perfect to practice identifying the theme or the message of different genres. Genres include fables, myths, legends, and folktales, poems, and short stories. This quiz show is broken into four different categories. Fables- read a common fable and select the theme Myths, legends, and folktales- read a myths, legends, or folktales and select the theme Poems- read a poem and select the theme Short stories- read a short story and select the theme Wrong answers will lead to a "try again" card. Correct answers will lead to a "correct" card then students can click to go to the scoreboard or game board. The game board includes drag and drop X's to cross out completed questions. The scoreboard allows you to type in the score. (positive or negative) This resource has 16 reading passages total.
