Virtual Pizza Party- Conversation Game

Description: Great for targeting expressive language (increasing intelligibility- using fluency enhancing strategies or "best talking"), receptive language (make it a following directions task e.g. "first put on the tomato, then add the pepperoni") and social language (turn-taking, topic maintenance, listening to peers ideas). Instructions: Have the student choose a pizza topping and place it where they want on the pizza. Under each topping there is a conversation starting topic with a verbal prompt at the top of the page, have the student fill in the blanks. If more than one child is in the group have each of the students engage by adding a comment or asking a question for each topping. Take turns having each student add a pizza topping.
