If you want a deck that is a scaffold for diphthongs ew, -aw, and some -ow words, this one might be helpful. Students have three diphthong choices. They will choose and type the correct diphthongs in the blanks. This is great practice for early readers to recognize the sounds of -ew, -aw, and some -ow words. Use this deck during your literacy block, intervention groups, or as early morning work. Students can also use these words to keep a collection of diphthongs in literacy notebooks.
