Description: This resource is perfect to teach multiple main ideas within a passage. This resource includes 6 high-interest informational passages about different kinds of fish. There are two paths that teachers or students can choose from to differentiate this resource. 1. Drag and drop main ideas and details into the "boxes and bullets" graphic organizer. Main ideas and key details are separated on two different cards to make it easier to differentiate the two key ideas in each passage. Each drag and drop card includes a random detail that is not a key detail or main idea. There is a spot to place the random detail as students determine the three key details and main idea. (self-grading) 2. Open response- students will read the passage, then complete side by side "boxes and bullets" graphic organizers to represent two different key ideas and details.
