This is a 41-card scavenger hunt that is filled with interesting facts about bees. While completing this hunt students will learn how bees keep their hive at a constant temperature no matter what the weather is like outside of it, what each kind of bee is responsible for doing, why Africanized bee stings are dangerous, and more. To complete the hunt, students read a multiple-choice question. Then they read a passage that will help them answer the question. Students receive instant feedback on whether or not they chose the correct answer. The final card in the deck challenges students to write 3 interesting things they learned from the hunt. It can be used as a supplement to a study of insects, as background information for a story, to practice reading informational text, or as an easy activity for a sub.
