Fun and challenging Subtraction take away practice, offering 5 different tasks to practice all basic aspects of subtraction! 45 audio supported cards to cover all subtraction problems within the 1-10 number range (only subtracting same number and zero are omitted as easier ones) 1. Cards 1-10. Find the Difference. We introduce the set up with an easier and visually explanatory task to actually take away = drag the requested amount of objects to solve the problem. Drag as many penguins to the ice floe as needed, count how many are left at the igloo and type in the answer. 2. Cards 11-20. Fin the Subtrahend. Look at the given set up - some penguins have already left on the ice floe - count how many and type in the subtrahend part of the equation. 3. Cards 21-30. Find the Minuend. Same set up - count and type in how many penguins there are in all (both: the ones that have left & that are still at the igloo) 4. Cards 31-40. Find the Subtrahend and the Difference. Same set up and two gaps to fill. 5. Cards 41-45. Subtraction from 10. Same set up and only the Difference spot is given. Count and find the Subtrahend and the Minuend and fill in the gaps.
