Description: This boom deck features fun and engaging activities for identifying initial sounds, learning the alphabet, and enhancing letter recognition. Your students will enjoy practising their alphabet by clicking on the pictures or letters. There are two types of cards mixed within the deck. The first type has a letter (e.g. Aa) and three pictures. Students select the picture that starts with that letter. The other type of card has one picture. Students decide what the beginning sound is and choose the correct matching letter. This deck is great for students who need practise with phonics, the alphabet, letter recognition, and beginning sounds! This deck aligns well with the following standards - CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RF.K.1.D Recognize and name all upper- and lowercase letters of the alphabet. CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RF.K.3.A Demonstrate basic knowledge of one-to-one letter-sound correspondences by producing the primary sound or many of the most frequent sounds for each consonant.
