Looking for a fun way to review the concept of COMMON and PROPER NOUNS with your students? Why not try a friendly little game of “Two Truths & a Cat Tale”! (It’s like “Two Truths and a Lie”, but doesn’t sound as harsh. Haha!) This deck of 25 Halloween-themed digital task cards gives students extra practice identifying common & proper nouns in an engaging way. Students are asked to look at three nouns that are somewhat Halloween-related and choose the one that is NOT a common noun. In other words, students need to determine which one is the lie..ahem...CAT TALE. PLEASE NOTE: None of the nouns are capitalized in this deck to purposely make it more difficult to choose the proper noun. There is a “hint” on each card which asks which noun should be capitalized.
