Description
Students complete the sentence on each card in the past tense by typing the given verb. They can listen to the recording of the sentence if they need help as all the verbs in this deck are irregular verbs. A list of the verbs in the deck is provided on the second card. Suitable for grades 2 (age 7) up to adult. Especially good practice for English language learners, who may not know what these verb forms sound like. There are 21 different verbs, all illustrated with photographs, appropriate for students of all ages. 15 verbs will be used at random in each game play, so each round will be slightly different, unless the teacher overrides that setting. (Go to your library, go to the "Action" tab for the deck and choose "Custom Play Settings".) For a greater challenge / differentiated assignments, download the version of the deck in my store without audio cues. Both decks are available together as a bundle.
