Description
This is a Free Trial Version of this deck and contains a total of 11 practice cards. The description of the full Spatial Concepts deck follows: Need lots of practice opportunities for your students working on basic spatial concepts? This deck provides it! The deck offers 5 sections, broken into 3 main areas, all focusing on 'beside' and 'between': Teaching the concepts, Practicing receptive comprehension of the concepts, and Practicing expressive use of the concepts The teaching section includes 2 sets of 10 cards. The first set has students identify the correct position while the second set has students put objects in the correct positions. The images are repeated on all 20 cards in both sets in order to emphasize the positions. The receptive practice section includes two sets of 20 cards. Different images are provided on each card in order to promote generalization. The first set asks students to identify the correct position while the second set requires students to place objects according to the descriptions. Finally, the expressive sections allows students to first place an object where they choose and then encourages them to tell where they have positioned the item using a complete sentence. Audio is provided on all 'teaching' and 'receptive practice' cards. Corrective feedback is provided for these sections as well. The expressive sections does not include audio or corrective feedback as it is expected that this section will be facilitated by an adult.
