Description: This is a Winter Pattern Activity. The student is shown a portion of the pattern and is asked to 'finish the pattern.' The patterns are: AB, AAB, ABB, ABC, AABC, ABBC, ABCC, and ABCD. Each pattern is displayed on 2 cards for 16 cards total. There is also an initial teachable card and 1 card at the end where the student may make their own patterns. The direction is written to 'finish the pattern', once the student completes this task and presses submit, they are given feedback as to success and the card advances to the next when success is achieved. This can be used for an individual lesson, a group activity using turn taking, or as a transition. The photos contribute to vocabulary and make this a fun, motivating activity. Happy Winter!
