Description: Directions: This activity targets comprehension and identification of the core vocabulary words "make" (or "made") by prompting the student to identify an item from a menu of 3 that could be "made" with the images in the center of the page. The student receives the prompting question at the top of each card, "What did she make?" In the center of each card are images of items that could be used to create/make another item. At the bottom of each card are 3 images/choices. The student selects the item that could be made from the images in the center of the card. Seeing the individual components and then selecting the item containing those components helps to TEACH the concept of the words "make" and "made." The final slide contains a larger symbol of the core vocabulary for "make" that can be printed and used in a variety of meaningful and authentic communicative interactions at home, school, or in the community (ex. use with art supplies, puzzles, model clay, in the kitchen/restaurant, etc.). **Note: This product has been modified from its original version to include updated graphics and increased functionality.
