Description
Students will demonstrate an understanding of part/part/whole relationships with this deck of number bonds. Each card includes a ten frame pictorial representation of the whole to help students who need additional scaffolding. Students will use counting and addition strategies as they compose and decompose numbers to determine the missing part. CCSS Correlations: Understand addition as putting together and adding to, and understand subtraction as taking apart and taking from. CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.K.OA.A.3 Decompose numbers less than or equal to 10 into pairs in more than one way, e.g., by using objects or drawings, and record each decomposition by a drawing or equation Add and subtract within 20.
