Description: This interactive activity goes with the story If You Give a Pig a Pancake by Laura Numeroff. Students are presented with WH Comprehension questions from the story "If You Give a Pig a Pancake. After each WH question, students are provided with a visual sentence starter to help expand their utterances. For example, when asked the question "what did the pig want with her pancake," students are given a visual sentence starter "the pig wanted ____." This helps studnets form sentences such as the "the pig wanted syrup." These questions go in the same order as the book. After each page, a question from the book is provided. This helps students assess their comprehension skills as they are reading as well. This also helps students work on story retell skills.
