These 25 Boom cards will help your students continue developing a deeper understanding of multiplication! The cards are designed for practice after being introduced to multiplication and repeated addition. In order to have a better understanding of the connection between multiplication and repeated addition, children need time to visualize and practice making those connections. Audio directions are on each card. Another focus of these task cards is ATTENDING TO PRECISION, one of the standards for math practices. I have intentionally used the same or similar numbers from the multiplication equation, and put them into many of the repeated addition number sentences. Again this challenges them to read carefully and visualize the problem in order to get the correct answer. The cards require a lot of processing, so you can ask students to do just 10 (or less) at a time to encourage them to work slowly and carefully. ©Designed to Educate by DEB 2020
