Description
The goal of this activity is to learn the concept of thin and thick with 2D shapes. Beautiful and vibrant 2D shapes (circles, hearts, stars) are used throughout the activity to retain the student’s attention. First, the student will type the words “thin” and “thick”. Second, the student will match the words “thin” and “thick” to the corresponding shape (2 slides). Third, the student will identify which shape is thin or thick when two shapes are shown (4 slides). Fourth, the student will complete simple sentences using the words “thin” and “thick”. Fifth, the student will identify the thinnest or thickest shape when arrays of three shapes are shown (6 slides). Sixth, the student will arrange shapes by thickness (3 slides).
