Thirty-four self-checking cards set at Don's Burgers. Read the menu, then either find one price or add up the order. Prices run from whole dollars up to register amounts with odd cents, so one deck covers a wide range in a mixed group. Three levels. Level 1 is a whole-dollar menu with three choices. Level 2 moves to quarters and four choices. Level 3 uses cents and three-item orders. On the adding cards the wrong answers are the mistakes students actually make: the price of just one item, for the student who added nothing, and an answer a dollar over. Levels 2 and 3 also offer one a quarter short and a digit swap like $8.80 for $8.08. On the price lookup cards every choice is a real price from the same menu, so guessing by shape does not work. Made for middle school, high school, and transition classrooms. Prefer paper?
