Practice identifying the correct pronouns and verb form (is or are) in sentences using the present progressive. Ten different sentences, each presented twice - once with the subject pronoun missing, the other time with the verb "is" or "are" missing - for a total of 20 cards. Possible answers are provided as well as audio of the sentences being read aloud. Each sentence is read aloud twice - once very slowly, and again at a more natural speed with elision. Students can copy the correct spelling as they type their answer. Standards addressed: CCSSL.1.1c Use singular and plural nouns with matching verbs in basic sentences (e.g., He hops; We hop).
