Description
This deck is the second one in the series. It contains 25 cards to count words in a sentence/phrase (phonological awareness). Students will hear a phrase or sentence said slowly and will have to move a monsters to a flying saucer for each word they hear. Phrases/sentences are in auto-play but students can click on the speaker icon to hear it as many times as they need. I've started with phrases (2/3 words) or sentences (4 words) because this a difficult skill for Pre-k students. They have difficulty remembering long sentences and I've realized it's better to start with short phrases/sentences and build their memory over time.
