Practice identifying the correct pronouns and verb form (is or are) in sentences using the present progressive. Ten different sentences, each presented twice - once with the subject pronoun missing, the other time with the verb "is" or "are" missing - for a total of 20 cards. Students can choose to listen to audio of the sentences being read aloud. Each sentence is read aloud twice - once very slowly, and again at a more natural speed with elision. The sentences in this deck (8B) are the same as in set 8A, but set 8A includes all the possible answer choices written on each slide. Standards addressed: CCSSL.1.1c Use singular and plural nouns with matching verbs in basic sentences (e.g., He hops; We hop).
