About me: <span style="font-family:Verdana, Arial, Geneva, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:13px;font-style:normal;font-variant:normal;font-weight:normal;line-height:16.003px;">Hi! Thanks for stopping by my Boom Learning Store. Growing up, I traveled all around the world and lived in many different countries. I learned to speak Spanish at the age of 9 when my family lived in Spain. I have a total of 27 years teaching experience. After I received my M.Ed. from the University of Florida, I began teaching in elementary school, where I taught pull-out remedial classes for grades 2-5 and a section of K-1. Then I taught Pre-K for 5 years, and then Middle School, where I have been in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. I have just retired from teaching and now spend my time making resources to help students and teachers succeed. My best experience, of course, has been being a mother and a grandmother to wonderful children and grandchildren. I love making products that will help teachers teach and students learn! I am currently certified in Elementary Education; Middle Grades in the areas of Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies; endorsed as a Teacher Support Specialist; a Reading Specialist K-12, and in Gifted and Talented Education. </span>
